Butterflies, some of the nicer Critters here in Belize.

In our driveway here at Bridge the Gap is a tree that attracts all kinds of bugs that eat the sap that comes from it.  There are bees and wasps and butterflies on it all the time.  Dennis and I just wanted to share some photos with you.

All you sciency-type people will love the camouflage here.

Great camo here also!  These moths fly around together and make a clicking
sound every time they touch.  It is kind of like the sound of sparklers.

This is also on the tree, it is some form of Bromeliad.
It is a plant that doesn't need soil.  It lives off moisture from the air.

If it sits with its wings open it is a moth. If it's wings are closed most of
the time then it's a butterfly.  (or visa-versa)

The blues here are amazing!  There were even more butterflies and moths
on the tree but they were too fast for us.  We'll try again later!

I have one more photo that is totally unrelated but we wanted to show you guys that the shower is in and Dennis had the first go at it yesterday!! He deserved it for all the hard work he put in.  That, and he smelled really bad.

The water is under the bridge now instead of over it so I should be able to get to the village tomorrow.  Don't like to be gone from all the kids for such long periods of time.  There is a back way to get there by going an extra long distance and crossing the river on an even scarier bridge than the normal one.

Love you guys!
