Unexpected Family Time

I said that six days at home was not enough.  Dennis said "That is all we have this time hon."  God said, "I have other plans for you guys."  So, I lost my passport.  Missed our plane in Nashville because of it.  Ordered a new one which arrived ten days later.  Found the old passport the next day.  Pastor Jamie said God did it to mess with Dennis...yep.

We have until the 9th of February to enjoy our stay here at home in Tennessee. And we have been having a wonderful time.  Dennis has fixed a variety of things here at the house including washers, dryers, the screen door, bathroom sink, vacuum cleaner, Grandma's vehicle, Daniels car, the mail box, Amy's mirror on her car, and the brakes, the generator down in the shop, the shed door, and he took a knot out of one of my necklaces.  He is our hero!

If we would have left on our original departure date these pictures would not exsist.  God knows our hearts desires.  He is a loving and kind Father who knows what is good and true and he watches out for his children.

Our grandson, Benaiah, at the hospital.

This is Aela, Benaiah's new little sister.

Holding grandchild number three, Aela Lucas.

Playing a complicated board game with Amy and Sam.  I did not win.

Spur of the moment Tea Party for us girls.

We searched in the backs of the closets to find suitable
attire for the big event.

This is my wedding dress from 1982.

Dennis' mom with Keira.  We call her GG for great grandmother.

We got to spend a warm Saturday in Nashville with Daniel and his girl friend Molly.  We zipped around the city in her little VW Bug.  We feasted on burgers and burritos and spent some fun time in a place called Mckays.  It is a huge building full of used books, CDs, DVDs and much more.  I found a new "happy place"!

Dennis and I have enjoyed our time at home but we both really want to get back to Belize.  We are really missing our friends there and feel like we need more time with them.  It is a difficult thing to live in two different worlds.

Happy to be here but looking forward to leaving at the same time.

Love you guys!!
